I wrote, 'Enough To Not Regret', on a rainy night during the winter in Dallas, Texas. The sound of the rain drops hitting my bedroom window played a crucial percussive role in this song's writing. I let the weather dictate the inspiration for the dynamic changes and time signatures. I tuned my acoustic Guild DV4, to a special open tuning in D# and began to have an interactive songwriting experience with nature. I later penned together lyrics to reflect that moment in time. This piece is the closest song I have to a painting. Thank you for experiencing it with me and for taking time to enjoy this art together.
